2026 Idaho Ballot · Proposition 1
A Radical Abortion Initiative
Is Coming for Idaho
They’re calling it the “Reproductive Freedom and Privacy Act.” But the fine print goes far beyond what its campaign is letting on — and Idaho families deserve to know the truth before November 3.
“Go, set a watchman; let him declare what he sees.” — Isaiah 21:6
What Prop 1 Actually Does
Creates a Sweeping New Legal Right
Establishes a broad right to “reproductive freedom and privacy” covering abortion and more — worded so broadly its real-world limits will be argued out in court, not settled on the ballot.
Legalizes Abortion Up To — and Beyond — Viability
Abortion becomes legal up to viability (~24 weeks) and beyond in cases of “medical emergency” — a major expansion from current Idaho law, which already protects both mothers and preborn life.
No Physician Required
Replaces “physician” with any licensed “health care provider,” quietly removing the safety standards Idaho has historically required. Autonomy means little if the standard of care gets lower.
The “Emergency” Standard Is Undefined
“Medical emergency” is defined by the treating provider’s own judgment — no independent board, no required second opinion. The provider performing the abortion decides whether it qualifies.

The Issues That Matter
Life
The protection of life is the foundation of all good policy. We advocate for the unborn and those who cannot speak for themselves.
Family
Defending the family is paramount. We promote policies that enable families to maintain their God-given autonomy and biblical design.
Biblical Marriage
God’s design for the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman is the foundation upon which families and societies are built.
Parental Rights
Children are a blessing from the Lord. We advocate for parents as the primary authority in the lives of their children and their education.
Religious Liberty
The free exercise of religion is a cornerstone of our founding documents. We advocate for policy that protects this right, ensuring the Gospel can reach those who call this country home.
